Scifi TV schedule for the next year

i hope v gets done well. it seems good on the previews. i was hoping to se juliet as an alien though but i guess she's human. i just hope this doesn't end her lost stint abruptly. they should tie up that lose end when they come back next season after the atomic bomb reset. i just hope they don't kill her off like they like doing to people leaving the show. >_< hmmm has anyone actually left lost without being killed? >_<

What ever happened with Ron Moore's Virtuality? Was it ever picked up for production?

creators should really stop pitching high-concept scifi shows to fox. either they will rape it or cancel it. they should just take it to scifi for any hopes of longevity.

I'm looking forward to Lost and Fringe. Not too hyped about Heroes. I may just give up on Heroes entirely. Definitely looking forward to Caprica as well, and Torchwood and Doctor Who.

Because the high concept Dollhouse was renewed while a bland action/adventure Terminator was canceled? It seems like Fox is giving high concept a shot.

Yeah but FOX will do that sometimes, they'll take a chance on a show, but then either rape its concept OR when they see the slightest dip in ratings or whatever they can it outright or just fuck up the scheduling to the point that its hard for it to gain legs. ABC does the same thing too. Look at stuff like Lois and Clark or Pushing Daisies, they started out really good, but then they kinda lost it when the network (although in P.D's case it was the stupid writer's strike that hurt it) but ABC sort of didn't give it the attention OR the timeslots it really deserved. Look at how they uberhyped Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters (the latter of which I still don't understand how its lasted as long as it has - its 'ok' but not 'great' either)

So for V I dunno how it'll do in the long run, my guess is, it won't last. They'll barely get through their initial order OR they'll end it on a random episode and then burn off the remaining episodes on a Saturday or something
