That's a pretty good compilation -- especially considering it was made in 1988 (according to the youtube description). A lot of fun.

The first one is from FORBIDDEN PLANET.

There are also clips from ENEMY MINE, STAR WARS, DUNE, and THE WAR OF THE WORLDS in there. Many others as well, but those are the ones that caught my eye.

I remade this video in about 1998 and 1999, with footage from Star Trek VI, Generations, First Contact, DS9, Voyager, Starship Troopers and Empire Strikes Back. I am uploading it on YouTube on New Year's Day 2011.
