When the implication is God bless America instead of or more than someplace (or everywhere!) else, as it usually is, I definitely dislike it.
If it's God bless America because we're talking about something specific to the U.S., and it doesn't imply that we're more deserving of that blessing than somewhere else, I'm okay with it. Unfortunately the latter instances are few and far between.
^That's part of it. But I also find it a badly out-dated term, it excludes a bunch of Americans who don't believe in god, or believe in different god(s), and it's an annoying and constant reminder that the separation of church and state...isn't.
^Separation of church and state?! Most of the time I've heard the phrase, "God bless America", it's had absolutely nothing to do with official governmental... anything.
^Um... Have you ever watched a president give a speech? Or someone running for president? The phrase's constant use in politics is exactly what I'm talking about. I couldn't care less about the average Joe saying it on the street.
^ I agree that the constant use in politics is highly annoying. But an individual, even the President, using it in passing in a speech is neither establishing an official religion nor limiting anyone's right to exercise their own religion or lack thereof. So I don't really see it as a separation issue. But maybe I'm being a bit pedantic here. 
^It is one of but many little things that add up. I was very pleased and impressed when Obama not only included many faiths, but also "nonbelievers" in one of his speeches.

A phrase I currently hate and it seems very prevelent in the Army is "It is what it is." To me it seems like such a cop out!
And I also cannot stand "With all due respect" Saying that phrase does not give you a pass to automatically say something disrespectful without consequences!

To the list I would like to add "It's a miracle" especially as it is so often applied to situations it is not appropriate to use
For example a child (such as Cecelia Cichan or Ruben van Assouw) is the sole survivor of a plane crash in which a 100 or more people die and the child's survival is listed as a 'miracle'. This is despite the fact that the child loses their whole family and suffers serious injuries themselves.
There are very good and known reasons why children are more likely survive certain types of plane crashes than adults are. There is no miracle involved.
For example a child (such as Cecelia Cichan or Ruben van Assouw) is the sole survivor of a plane crash in which a 100 or more people die and the child's survival is listed as a 'miracle'. This is despite the fact that the child loses their whole family and suffers serious injuries themselves.
