This looks like fun! Love Drew Barrymore, so I'll definitely be checking it out. Ten episodes premiere on February. 3rd.

She's all yours Guy.
Cross my heart.
I wouldn't lie.
Forever and always.
This I knew.
Of the everlasting love affair.
Between you and Drew.

I'm just curious if Zombies are new, or the world is sorta already having issues dealing with the outbreak?

Pick only one.

1. My sweet Drew is patient zero. No one knows about Zombies.

2. Zombies are known about, but so rare no suburbanite thinks about them as a problem regular US Citizens would ever have to deal with.

3. Zombies are part of every day life. Every citizen is a little worried that anyone they know could be a zombie in hiding waiting to pounce.

4. Half of Europe is over run with rampaging Zombies. They are the enemy of Humanity.

I'll go with #3.

I can see everyone waving a friendly hello to their neighbours as they go into their houses, shuttting the front door, while silently counting their blessings that they made it through another day.

If people don't actually vocalize a problem then in their minds, there is no problem. Ignorance. Some people are stupid.

From the creator of Better Off Ted... ?!?

Glory gory glory!

I am on a rest day. Barring unforeseen events, acts of the gods, exigent circumstances or death, this will be binged on the morning of Netflix delivery.

Hugo - says fuck it... he's binge watching BOT before-hand too

1/2 way through. Rather disappointing. Barrymore has no comic timing and Olyphant seemingly is channelling Sean William Scott, ca American Pie X

Only the "Zombie Mystery" and the more stable teen cast are powering me through.

Hugo - mostly dully with flashes of inspiration. (Both the show and him)

I agree with your disappointment. I'm three episodes in. There are a few good chuckles to be had but nothing hilarious. The leads don't have chemistry either. Everyone seems bored.

Real life boring people in soulless lives where they sell insurance or houses, hardlyever have chemistry, it's more about finding someone to go halves in a Mortgage with.

It finished better than it started, mostly thanks to the show endlessly revving up the absurdity. Plus, the never ending genius of Portia De Rossi. Barrymore needs some comedy lessons from her should this be renewed. At best diverting at worst, ironically, rather lifeless. Back to the BOT rewatch

While watching I kept thinking that Drew should stick to rom-coms. However this made me appreciate iZombie a little more, because it's actually entertaining.

I finished 7 episodes in one sitting and what a perfect hook to get me back tomorrow night. Those who've seen it know what I'm talking about.

I loved it. I like Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant has great comedic timing. Far from looking bored, he was fantastic, as was the rest of the cast who I found to be in top comedic form.

It wasn't as gruesome as I thought it would be. I found that I could take the blood and gore, so the chilli cook-off I'm going to tomorrow won't be ruined but I did have to turn away at the vomit scenes. That was gross.

I also like the mythology and can't wait to see where that goes. The father/daughter trip was a good moment too.

The asked themselves if mom was dead and in a way she was. "Self" dead, "Id" alive. Nice take on zombie lore.

Churro saber? More like a churro He-Man sword.

Finished the season and loved it. Yes, Portia de Rossi was great, as was Grace Zabriskie and the principal's granny. Nice to see her still kicking around.

Only had a chance to watch the first three episodes so far but I'm enjoying it. I love how absurd it all is.

Dang it! Every time I see this thread title, I misread it as "Santa Claus Diet"!

What would that be anyway, nothing but milk and cookies?
