Santa brought you????

A 2.5 oz bottle of Hervé Legér Eau de Parfum Spray. My absolute favorite. :luvlove:

Warmest Wishes,
Whoa Nellie

A warm house, a larder full of food, genuine safety, and best wishes from dear friends. :bolian:

I mean, it could have all been so very different today...

Well it was different for me today.

It was cold all night and most of this morning...it is still 50 in my room.
The fridge is not full of food.
No wishes from anyone in my RL.
Safety? Given where I live and the stuff that goes on...it isn't safe.

I am glad you all are having a good holiday...because if you were going through what I am now you would being crying.

Stocking (other than the toiletries and socks :shifty:):
TARDIS USB Hub
A "perforated snap case" for my iPod Touch
$20 movie theater gift card (3 movies easy)
Terminator 2 Endoskeleton action figure

From sister:
$25 Gamestop gift card

From brother:
Family Guy: Something Something Something Darkside
Robot Chicken: Star Wars 2

Other stuff from parents:
Star Trek movie DVD
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition

Oh, and a NEW COMPUTER!! I sure wasn't expecting that. Heh, the one I'm using now is 6 years old, with only 75 GB hard drive space and 512 MB RAM (and that's twice the RAM it came with!). New one is a HP Pavilion Slimline with 640 GB hard drive space, 4 GB RAM, and Windows 7 built in. Oh, and a new widescreen monitor too (though I already had one).

Very good Christmas. :D

:(

So sorry, Jetfire. That must be awful.
Wishing you an abundant new year. Hang in there and chin up.

Santa brought my family a Wii with FIFA Soccer 10, Wario, My Sims Agents, WiiSport, and WiiPlay. I figure we need John Madden Football and SuperMario Brothers, and we don't need another game for it.

I got the phaser and D-7 ornaments this year, along with a much needed charging valet for my electronics, 6 classic Doctor Who serials, the Big Finish Sherlock Holmes adventure, and a new set of travel mugs. A bunch of my presents from DW haven't arrived yet, so more to come with them and with the in-laws.

I also got $100 in Best Buy gift cards from the Catholic Church I play music for. Not that having a half dozen of my best students show up and play Christmas carols before Mass this morning wasn't one of the most musically fulfilling gifts I ever got.

Plus some Jack Daniels and some other stuff which hasn't arrived yet (watch, some other stuff). And technically I got some TNG era rank pins for free, I'll accept them as a Christmas gift ;)

It's been a wonderfully geeky Christmas.

The gifts I received

From my mother - $100 cash (I bought the Wii Sports Resort game with it)
From son 3 - LOST, season 5
From son 2 - $30 gift voucher from EB Games
From son 1 - a strange phone call - and he hanged up on me
From Best Friend 1 - a glass seahorse ornament and a little black cat ornament

Jetfire,
I'm so sorry that you didn't get hardly anything for Christmas this year..but you have to remember, it's not necessarily about the presents under the tree or the carols being sung..it's mostly about peace on earth with friends and family. But I'm sorry you didn't get anything hardly..maybe Santa will surprise you later with something? If it makes you feel any better, this economy has made my family suffer as well and this year's Christmas was a lot more scarce than last year's. But I did get the things I have been wanting. So you have to see the good in life as well as the bad. I know last night I was about ready to kill both of my parents because they were arguing about EVERY..SINGLE...THING! :scream: We were going over to a friend's house for dinner with he and his family and they just got into it. I'm not trying to take sides, but I think Mom started it with her negative attitude about the fact that Dad leaves her car looking like a garbage disposal and never cleans it up and that he didn't have any gas. She was livid to say the least. But this morning..they were actually civil(I guess since it's Christmas and everything) to each other and laughed for once.

As for myself, Santa brought me some Smirnoff ice to get drunk with later on this evening, and the highlight of it all was getting a Bissell Steam Pet Cleaner to clean the carpets with! I was like a kid with a new toy putting that little jewel together. :) I also got some giftcards to Wal-Mart, Hastings and SteinMart which I adored and some lottery tickets..I didn't get lucky though. Oh well. :) Maybe tomorrow at our garage sale I'll get some money. :D Mom got all the money this year dangit!

  • A JVC Everio Digital camcorder (from my mother's family)
  • Kodak digital camera
  • Samsung pocket digital video camera (similar to a Flip-both from my parents)
  • Several new (old) Transformers for my collection
  • A new pocket knife
  • More than $200 in gift cards and cash
  • two new bed comforter sets
  • From my best friend, the ST XI Phaser
  • A Captain Kirk uniform shirt from my mother, along with a Starfleet delta belt buckle.
Quite a good haul this year. Kinda overwhelmed by all the cameras...I mean, I rarely get a chance to use a video camera, and I'll be using the Everio when I do...a still camera is always handy, but the Samsung...not sure what I'll do with it. And it's a hall of a lot of memory cards to buy...
