SANCTUARY--Ashley written out? WHY???

Heh, nubbins.

Sanctuary feels like a show I'd enjoy if there was a story arc to follow like in the last few episodes of season 1.

This "monster/situation-of-the-week" crap has never been very entertaining.

While I agree that Network Interference sucks, I think it was executed reasonably well.

Her demise wasn't a single episode thing. While her capture at the end of S1 could have led to her eventual cliched escape, her being turned into a superabnormal was rather interesting.
Akin to the potential alternate ending of BOBW2 (Picard biting it with the borg).

Her death was also well-executed. She knew she was a goner and was causing the destruction of all that her mother had built so she did the only thing she could do.

And yes, it left the door open for her to return.

I'm still trying to see what Kate Freelander has added to the show other than a roguish past and daddy issues.
