Sam Rami to direct Dr Strange 2

I hope this isn't a spoiler, but for anyone not aware, the post credits scene for No Way Home is the first Multiverse of Madness trailer.

It looks pretty cool, and is a lot more of a direct follow up to No Way Home than I expected. It included what looked like it might be Dark Strange from What If? which is a huge surprise.
We also got our first look at Wanda in the movie, and it looks like she was somewhere other than the cabin where we saw her at the end of WandaVision. I know a lot of people thought she might be the villain for the movie, but from what we see here, it looks like she is helping Strange.
We also got our first look at Mordo, who doesn't seem to happy with what Strange has done.

If Dark Strange from What If...? is indeed in the movie, it would add fuel to the speculation the Hayley Atwell will be appearing as Captain Carter.

I did find it odd for a Sony movie to promote a Disney movie. Sony must have been given a few bucks for that

It might technically be a Sony movie, but Multiverse of Madness is a direct sequel to it, so it isn't really that odd. I'm actually in a little bit of shock about just how directly it appears to be following up on No Way Home. I knew it was also deal with the multiverse, but I thought it would just be more of a continuing theme, not that the whole story of the movie would be based around the continuing fallout from Strange & Peter's spell.

I knew it was also deal with the multiverse, but I thought it would just be more of a continuing theme, not that the whole story of the movie would be based around the continuing fallout from Strange & Peter's spell.

The really weird thing is pre-COVID this was supposed to be released before No Way Home. Thank Zod they build in time for reshoots into their schedules.
