I'm surprised I haven't seen this posted before.
Also, Pulitzer-award winning writer David Lindsay-Abaire has been tapped to write a draft of Spider-Man 4. David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Spider-Man) and James Vanderbilt (Zodiac) were previously attached to write the script, and had written previous drafts.
I'm so-so on the return of Raimi & Maguire. I wouldn't have had much of a problem with a new director and a new star, but I liked Spider-Man, so maybe after the debacle of Spider-Man 3 they've learned a few lessons. I'm willing to give them another shot.
On the other hand, I was excited when Koepp was announced as writer, and I hoped Raimi would just let him do his job, and not interfere in the writing process, like he did for Spider-Man 3 (I hold him accountable for many of that film's story and script problems). Then when Vanderbilt was announced, I was disappointed, but still satisifed since I thought he would do a fantastic job (I loved Zodiac ... however I'm hard-pressed to realize if the film's quality was because of his script or because of David Fincher).
Regardless, interesting news, eh?

Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire are back as director and star, respectively, as are series producers Laura Ziskin and Avi Arad. Kirsten Dunst also is expected to return for the latest movie featuring the Marvel Comics character.
