...has anyone found a Star Trek episode where he says sabotage the "proper" way? Personally I love his unique way of saying things.

I'm sure you noticed the grin when she pronouced it way Shatner did. She couldn't help herself. But... that's... why... Shatner... is... Kirk.

Must be a Canadian thing. Shatner was quite right. "I don't say 'sabotoj'. You say say 'sabotoj'. I say 'sabotaaj'."

I've never heard him speak French...I've only seen that Esperanto clip...

^ Oh man, Incubus is such a weird-ass movie. And from what I heard his Esperanto wasn't exactly all that good, though I sure wasn't able to tell.
Hmmm, only time I heard him speak some French was on Boston Legal, come to think of it.

The original reading is from the Judgment Rites game. I've played the CD version with the voices of the original crew. I wouldn't even say Shatner's acting the part of Kirk in that game...he sounds like he's simply reading the lines in the most droll way possible. It's pretty disappointing.
