Saavik's Pregnancy

So, I think Saavik was preggers. Always did. They talked about it, it was Pon Farr, and we as fans just figured that is what happened. When she went away at the beginning of Star Trek IV it just seemed to confirm that she had something she had to do. We were pretty sure it was to give birth to a kid.

Fun to speculate more, but in summary, they did the do, she had to go away, and then on screen we hear nothing else. So somewhere Saavik and Spock's kid is playing in a field with dozens of Kirk's kids. :P

being a Human-Klingon hybrid certainly didn't stop Worf's old flame from getting pregnant.

I seem to rememeber a dialogue Troi(?) told her she didntd know it was possible and Keylerh replied her parents had to have medical help. Or something. Sorry I cant look it up now.
