Variery reports that Marvel planted fake cameos to protect to the real ones. Ryan Reynolds confirms that Taylor Swift is definitely  not in the film.

“I can neither confirm nor deny any cameos in this film but I will say, in terms of characters that may or may not appear, it was always important to us that nothing in this movie feels like a gimmick,” [executive producer Wendy] Jacobson added. “Anyone showing up has a crucial story purpose or a beginning, middle and end as a character arc. It was definitely a collaborative process of seeing who fit in and who didn’t.”​

One potential cameo that continues to draw buzz on social media involved Taylor Swift, who some fans theorize will show up as either Lady Deadpool or the mutant Dazzler (a role she was allegedly circling in the “X-Men: Apocalypse” days). The “Deadpool & Wolverine” team have frequently shut down the rumor, and Reynolds recently told E! News: “I will say once and for all that the cameo thing with Taylor, because she’s our friend — that is not in this film.”​

Oh, there going to be so many spoilers out there after that embargo drops. I'm glad I decided to do a Thursday night preview show for the first time since Endgame with this one. I stopped watching the red carpet premiere when I saw ***** ******* and ****** ***** walk by in the background and I had no idea if they had cameos in the movie or if they were just there to see the movie.

Yeah, I only watched the Reynolds and Jackman interview (which just happened to be going on when I clicked on the live stream) and then immediately stopped.

I'm going to see the film on Friday morning, so I'm going to have cut off social media and sites like io9 (who almost immediately spoiled a big moment from Sunday's House of the Dragon) because clearly I can't trust anyone to show any kind of restraint.

The complaints I've seen in reviews mostly seem to be things that just apply to Deadpool in general, I guess being an "MCU" film has really brought on more people wanting to "take it down a peg". I'm super excited to see the film myself, and peoples whose reviews I generally agree with seem to like or love it, so I'm sure I'll enjoy it.
