I'm curious because the way he's talking there, it almost like the Doctor doesn't even exist in the show's world, but I thought the whole idea of the show was that it took place in the Doctor Who universe.
At the end it mentions different species existing in the Sea Devils world, so I'm wondering if that will the explanation for the different ways they look.

Yeah, now seems like a really weird time to be selling it to a company like WB. It also seems a little weird that this would come as a possibility so soon after they pulled all of the pre-Disney seasons off of HBO Max, you'd think if this was a possiblity they would have left them on there.A bunch of Doctor Who commentary youtube channels are talking about rumored talks between BBC and HBO Max as a new international platform for the Doctor Who back catalog and future content (minus the Disney+ seasons for now).
What are ya'll thoughts on that?
Isn't HBO Max as part of the Warner bros group about to be merged into another company? Would it be wise to sell rights to a company that has a very uncertain future?
