Well, it certainly suggests consent issues.
You may be onto something though, it took a while for the fifth to regen his highlights in.
I have a feeling that's going to be just in the "wish world".

Well, of course. What's really interesting is back in 'Space Babies' we got this dialogue:
“I'm sorry, Poppy, I'm so sorry, but we are not your mummy and daddy. I wish we were, but we're not."
So looks like the two season story was all planned from the beginning. Well, except for whatever happened to get Millie demoted to guest star status.
We may never know. I think there are four options here:
1. The rumours were true and Millie was a nightmare to work with (although Corrie seemed sad to lose her and she always seems really pleasant in interviews. I remember seeing similar accusations levelled at Pearl)
2. RTD decided the dynamic between the Doctor and Ruby wasn't working but either contractually or just out of common decency decided to give her work in the next season (I'd call this the Freema Factor
)3. It was always the plan. I do wonder if RTD always wanted a non-white Tardis crew but felt he couldn't jump straight in there so he went with Millie in the first season.
4. It's always possible that Millie decided it was too much for her (yes she was in 200 odd episodes of Corrie but that's much more of an ensemble and I imagine a far less pressured work environment. We need to remember she is still relatively young). This might have coincided with Varada impressing in Boom and the stars aligned.

I don't think it was 1or she wouldn't be back at all.
3 seems unlikely given the foreshadowing that looks to have been happening.
I think 4 is the most likely. In Corrie she was just one of a large cast and now she's co-lead and for the first month of shooting basically had to do it alone since Ncuti was finishing Sex Education. I know I'd have probably found it too much pressure at that age.
Episide 8 is 66 minutes long.

Haven't seen it yet myself but allegedly the preview of the finale in DWM says the episode will have major revelations about the history of Gallifrey in general and the true nature of the relationship between the Doctor and the Rani specifically.
She's going to bloody turn out to be the Doctor's daughter / Susan's mother isn't she? And that baby she seems to be giving away in the preview photos is Susan.

I hope not! According to Time and The Rani, she and The Doctor are the same age. 953
She will be the mother of Susan’s mother. And the space babies.
And the Doctor will have it done without consent, or Conrad will be involved, and they won’t think of the optics of two women and a sonic pipette making a baby. And it will be a terrible wreck for years to come.
I am hoping not, but my ‘they did what?’ Senses are tingling, and RTD2 (the trans girl is trans because time Lord magic!) has been as bad as Chibnall (on your knees woman! Send the Indian to the camps!) for not thinking through the subtext of things.

She's conceived during the Fugitive years which explains the Doctor's weird comment that he hasn't had children yet, as he doesn't remember.
She only finds out her parentage recently, maybe from the Master who discovered it with the rest of the Time Lord's secrets. This is why she's looking to make the Doctor suffer for abandoning her. (Though it's not really his fault.)
And when old Susan said "Find me" she was actually talking about baby her, who the Doctor will end up leaving with his past self.
Hopefully I'm completely wrong though!
