I don't agree. I think its an interesting concept and a decent lore reveal with its own set of mystery surrounding it.

It would be. If it hadn’t been done to keep a popular Doctor in the back pocket, and hadn’t accidentally been written and shot in a manner that leaves doubt over who the ‘real’ Doctor is at precisely a time you don’t want that. Oh, and if they hadn’t done magic clothes in a regen three episodes previous.
It was janky.

I cannot match it exactly to any images I find online, but it only evokes that moment (pun intended) for me.

My first thought when looking at it is that it's from Star Wars, those look like Sith eyes to me. But, I dunno. I guess we'll know for certain within two weeks.

That one could go either way. Granted her pose could be the sort of "just regenerated, checking out my new body" thing, but something about the shot makes me think it's from an interview.

Again, we'll just have to wait and see.

And just to give a silly nitpick, would regeneration really have obvious hair dye right off the bat?

(Yes, I know it could, just making a stupid joke. Laugh or groan, don't come at me with explanations of how regeneration "actually" works.)

I'll go with that's from an interview for now. Partially to preserve my sanity. If it's the other option being considered (not that there are actually only two), that would smack of total desperation and ridiculousness.

If it's not an interview, then I'm guessing it's something other than what's being suggested. Perhaps she's back as The Moment? That strikes me as more likely.
