Russell T. Davies Returns to Doctor Who as New Showrunner

Is the 1992 Shada VHS representation be included as the Curator entry?

Beyond that... I can't muster much enthusiasm for this. Seems utterly disposable really, and not much that I'd care about. Sorry.

And now we know what the mystery six day project was...

Tales of the TARDIS, a series of minisode/documentaries where classic Doctors and companions meet in-character to discuss past adventures

BBC - Tales of the Tardis - Episode guide
The cynic in me says they are doing this because we won't see any other Doctor in the 60th specials and also to stop former Who actors making another fan film like they did for the 50th.

I've been praying for the last couple of years that Davison has already been secretly working on a sequel. He certainly has expressed interest in doing one. Fingers crossed!

He wrote one, but there was a diversity gag that meant it didn’t get the go ahead. I think the first one was more a ‘they made it, bbc bought it’ kind of deal. All done on favours and made piecemeal.

Matthew Waterhouse has talked on Twitter about running into Wendy, Frazier et al in Cardiff in September and them assuming he was there for the same reason they were, while he had no idea. Poor Adric, always left out of the fun.

I don't know if it's just supposition on his part but he says there wasn't a 4th Doctor one because Tom doesn't really travel these days and Louise Jameson was too busy.

Lalla and Matthew doing E-space… dunno if that would be all that interesting. It’s a funerary dirge of a season.

Also, Lalla's in Hong Kong pretty much full time from what I understand.

Tardis Tales via FaceTime. Which given Romana was in e-space, fits well. Maybe she gives Adric a buzz on prehistoric earth after he somehow survived the crash and no one went to look xD

A shame about no Fourth Doctor and super awkward for Matthew. Especially since he, following Janet's footsteps, has more openly embrace Whodom and doing Big Finish regularly now.

Sadly, given Tom's age and health it's not a surprise. Just a shame we couldn't get something with the companions at least.

The new SFX has a big interview with Russell in it. (People of a nervous disposition should be aware that he talks about working on Seasons 1 to 4, not Series 14 to 17.)

And it shouldn't really be a surprise to anyone but he states categorically that The Timeless Child is the Doctor's origin and he won't be changing or ignoring it.

Spin-offs are planned but not imminent. No truth to a UNIT series.

^^Yeah i have watched a few, the looks fantastic, it is going to be great back to Who, Davies is not going to disappoint, the 60th is working out to be a anni and a cracking reboot of the show. :-)

The Zoe and Jamie and Steven and Vicki ones were awesome.
