Copies of unfinalized episodes have always been circulated for many reasons, so this is just one more place to send them, and I would guess that Disney’s security is probably better than the BBC’s as far as that goes.

The quote about Madeley’s character is that she is “integral to the new Whoniverse,” which as already noted sounds like a hing that she’s going to be recurring going forward, not that she’s someone with deep ties to the lore.

Another tidbit from the new issue is that Mavic Chen is name-dropped in one of the specials.

 

I saw the quote as "the entire Whoniverse" not the "new"

 

She must be playing a resurrected Tecteun. It's the only explanation.

I think Carnival of Monsters is highly underrated. It remains one of my favorite Pertwee serials.

 

It is, it's a fun one indeed. We also learn another name aliens use for humans, Telurians

 

The cover for Delta made a sly reference to the Navarionos wanting to visit Disney Land.

It's a term Bob Holmes seems to have liked, so generally appears in his scripts (e.g. Carnival of Monsters).

 

Tellurian (as a word for people or things relating to Earth) has been in use since the late 1700's, according to Dictionary.com
