Interestingly, this was quite different from how things were ranked for penultimate episode. I've put the percentages for each episode's companion in parentheses:

30%: Doomsday (4%)
28%: The End of Time, Part Two (4%)
20%: Journey's End (42%)
13%: The Parting of the Ways (13%)
10%: Last of the Time Lords (38%)

The two lowest for first parts were the two highest here!

I thought I'd ask about some settings; here you should pick your favorite contemporary Earth episodes. The new show has rather a lot, so you can vote for TWO. I've also omitted two-parters in an arbitrary effort to cut down on numbers.

I concur about it being an excellent look at fandom ruined by Peter Kay, but I still wouldn't vote for it. At least with this group of episodes.

I actually had a reasoned debate inside my head between School Reunion and Blink before deciding on School Reunion...just as I lciked the vote button I saw I could've voted for both anyway! sigh!

Anyway, to explain...as brilliant as Blink is, I think SR is better, if only because it actually features a substantial amount of the actual Doctor! Oh and Sarah Jane and K-9

I have to admit I've never been that much of a fan of Sarah-Jane. Pity it wasn't somebody else.

I would love for the new series to catch up with either Jamie or the Brigadeer.

School Reunion and Partners in Crime.

I'm a bit confused - why is Turn Left, which takes place on a parallel Earth on here, while none of the contemporary Earth two-parters are on here? Did I miss something?

At first I wondered why Turn Left was in this poll, but as it's based on Earth around now, regardless of it being in this reality or some unrealised one, I didn't worry about it.
