Romulans join the Dominion any hope of victory?

Okay so let's say Garak's bomb doesn't work in In the Pale Moonlight. Vreenak takes this outrage back to Romulus and the worst happens. The Romulans join the dominion war effort.

Does the Federation-Klingon alliance have any chance of victory?

Or is the outcome of the war inevitably a dominion victory?

Unlikely that the Federation or Klingons could win the war if the Romulans joined the Dominion. They would have a new front to fight on against an enemy that is fresh.

The writers would find a way to make the Federation triumph.

In-universe though I think the Feds would be toast. They were already losing the war when the Romulans stayed neutral (which is what drove the Sisko to his act of desperation).

There's always hope. It's not like anyone anticipated the Prophets wiping the Dominion fleet out of our timeline (and possibly existence). Perhaps in desperation Odo would have snuck his way to Cardassia Prime and things would have essentially ended the same way.

I don't think the federation would have stood a chance. Although it'd be interesting to see what would happen. In my opinion The klingons wouldn't surrender so the dominion/cardassian/romulans would wipe out the klingons first. Whilst that was happening I think the federation would be desperately trying to broker some sort of deal with the dominion which I rather suspect would include: cardassians nor romulans haveing control of earth, tellar, andoria, Vulcan etc but instead the federation becoming a member of the dominion and eventually becoming more like the Karrema, a race in the dominion but with some autonomy. Whether that would be accepted I'm not sure. I suppose if i was in the dominion I would accept those terms and tell the cardassians and the romulans they can have Klingon space as that would probably be the hardest to control thus keeping those two scheming and unreliable powers (although still
In the dominion) busy

I can see them besieging the Solar System. maybe even conquering Vulcan.

They could have made "Insurrection" about Picard and company trying to touch off a pro-federation rebellion amongst the Remans, and other Romulan subject races. along with the pro Vulcan dissidents Spock was teaching.

The reason the Romulans were originally suggested to be important to the outcome of the war was because they tolerated the use of their space (periliously close to Vulcan and Earth, supposedly, considering the fictional history) for Dominion operations but did not tolerate the Alpha Axis striking back at the Dominion through said space.

The fighting power of the Romulan Star Empire might in fact have been utterly insignificant, comprising just a Potemkine force of a few dozen big Warbirds against the thousands upon thousands of Starfleet or Klingon warships. So the Romulans joining the Alpha Axis changed everything (the Dominion no longer could conduct sneak attacks through the Romulan Neutral Zone), but the Romulans joining the Dominion would have changed little or nothing (the sneak attacks against the soft core of the UFP would continue, even if now the Axis could strike back without having to care about making enemies of the Romulans).
