Oh, my mistake. For some reason I could have sworn that Nemesis said 2003 when I was comparing the release dates on Wikipedia.2002. Attack of the Clones and Nemesis.

It's easy to forget. It is Nemesis, after all.Oh, my mistake. For some reason I could have sworn that Nemesis said 2003 when I was comparing the release dates on Wikipedia.
I hazard to disagree. They may make for a beautifully rendered and unified whole regarding the visual experience of the film, but plenty of the individual designs are bordering (or even downright straddling) ugly. Y-Wings, the Falcon, the Tantive IV, etc. are far from visually appealing, though they are extremely visually interesting, they just have a brutish functionality to their look that allows us not to question that form, and charm and character enough to allow us all to fall in love. The thing about McQuarrie's designs ( and the OT in general ) is that the form was always visually appealing.

I tend to agree. The designs of Star Wars feel very functional but few of them feel very attractive. This is certainly a facet of the PT that I can make an argument. The ships feel a little more attractive as well as functional.I hazard to disagree. Wow, after all of issues that have popped up with Marvel movies, Fan4stic, Suicide Squad, and now RO I'm starting to think the movie studios might need to start looking a bit more carefully at who they hire to direct these movies.A lot of people were saying that reshoots are standard in Hollywood, and they are. A week of them perhaps, a few scenes, like they did with Star Trek Beyond. A whole month's worth of reshoots is not a norm. But hey, stuff happens. However, with this news, that someone else is brought in to help PP and editing, it does make you wonder if the studios lost faith in Edwards as a director
I think he's referring to the situation with Ant-Man.Issues with Marvel movies? I can't really recall anything huge going wrong there. Have I missed something??
