RIP Tony Todd

This is truly sad; I was fortunate enough to meet him at a Dallas-area convention several years ago. He signed a picture from The Crow for me, and we snapped this photo together. I also mentioned his one-shot appearance on Smallville, referring to his character as a "meteor freak"...and after I explained that was the show's term rather than mine, he got a kick out of it. :D

I've seen some of his movies, but not for a very long time. The only roles I can actually remember him for are his roles in Star Trek as Kurn (Worf's brother), adult Jake Sisko in "The Visitor," and a Hirogen in the Voyager episode "Prey." According to Wikipedia, he also had a recurring role on SG-1's 9th season. I don't remember that at all, but then it's been a long time.

Very sad that he passed away.

Always liked this guy in everything I've seen him in. Most recently, I recognized his voice as Scareglow in the Netflix Masters of the Universe show. As much as I loved him as Kurn, his Jake Sisko was unforgettable.

Sad to see he's gone. RIP.

I'm a fan of his stuff like Smallville, as the voice of Zoom from "The Flash," but most especially in "The Man from Earth." Beautiful film and he was delightful

I just read about Mr Todd's passing in the news and I feel incredibly sad. The community has lost such an amazing actor and personality. I'm sure that many will agree that his role as young Jake Sisko in "The Visitor" and Worf's brother Kurn will be how many remember him.

I just sent him an email last week! I wanted to tell him how much I enjoyed his work over the years.

Rest, my friend. You will be greatly missed.

This hurts. Tony Todd was great, always a fan of his work. Interacted on Twitter with him a couple of times too. He also did voice work for the Half-Life videogames, playing an alien which my family called "the Tony Todd alien" because there was no missing that distinctive voice.

Damn, loved him as Kurn, and his performance as an older Jake Sisko in The Visitor was breathtaking and brilliant.

Oh no. :(

I will always remember Todd for his moving performance in the classic “The Visitor”, which is so strong that it regularly brings me to tears when rewatching it. I also loved him in the wonderful cult movie “Man From Earth”. He had a great, booming voice and a presence like few actors can claim.

May he rest in peace.

He's one of those actors who has been in so much and his passing hits kinda hard. A great stage presence and voice actor. RIP sir. :(
