I just heard this a few minutes ago. He's passed away at 84 due to complications with pneumonia.

RIP. Thanks for the laughs.

Leslie Nielsen is dead? Surely you can't be serious!

Rest in Peace, Leslie, thanks for the laughs.

:(

"A parachute not opening... that's a way to die. Getting caught in the gears of a combine... having your nuts bit off by a Laplander, that's the way I wanna go."

Damn, that one really hits you.

Hilarious guy, and did some good Dramatic roles in stuff like Forbidden Planet.

I'm going to miss him.

R.I.P.

I usually don't post in threads like these, but I'm really shocked to hear this. He's one of those actors who seemed to be immortal like Abe Vigoda.

RIP Leslie :(

Now that he is gone, it is time to pick another Canadian actor who used to only do drama but would be perfect for comedy.

I'm thinking of Michael Hogan of course. I can TOTALLY see him as a reboot Drebin...

"You take a chance getting up in the morning, crossing the street or sticking your face in a fan."

RIP Mr. Nielsen.

That's really sad to hear. I guess I'm going to have to get used to the idea of a world without Leslie Nielsen, but dammit, I really don't want to. :(

Thanks for the memories, Mr. Nielsen. Now, I think it's time I planned a Naked Gun marathon...

Thanks for the good times.

Hard to believe that in the 21st century pneumonia still takes it's toll, regardless of age.
