This might actually be the impetus I need to get me to read the book (I know, I know, I should have done it ages ago).

Brave New World was a pretty good book. Not great, but good. However, Ridley Scott's movies are usually quality so this should be rather interesting.

It's been years since I read it in high school but it wasn't a terribly exciting book as I recall. This and Fahrenheit 451 I consider "1984 Lite". Just aren't as insidious and oppresive as the world of Big Brother!

What impressed me most about the character of John the Savage in Huxley's novel is that as an outcast he reminded me so much of Rambo from David Morrell's "First Blood" (1972).
