So filming has wrapped and Vin is reporting that the studio is telling him January 2013 for release. Was a release date not already nailed down?

Diesel says "The studio said the earliest they could release the new 'Riddick' is in January… was hoping for 2012… but, it’s on the horizon.

I don't know how much more they can squeeze out of the Riddick universe, but I am still looking forward to the new movie and to see Katee Sackoff.
