Ricky Gervais to have brief cameo on US Office

Well, that scene wasn't funny at all... and nothing about Michael or Holly in the episode was funny. They're annoying. Creed stole the show.

Apparently Carell and Gervais wanted to have some kind of scene together before Carell makes his exit at (or slightly before?) the end of this season. .

It'll be slightly before. There will be four episodes, if I recall correctly, post-Michael Scott.

Looks like I might stop watching the show four episodes earlier than planned then...

Am I out of my mind or did they basically just announce Gervais would be replacing Carell??

And apparently Gervais earlier hinted that this episode would foreshadow who would be the new office manager when asked about rumours of his guest appearance.

Yeah, I think you're out of your mind. ( ).

I don't think Gervais would do a weekly American show, not at this point in his career.

I took it more of a reference to him not having a job since he quit his job all those years ago.

Then you'll miss the gimmick of having Will Ferrell highlight those 4 episodes.
