The Trip and T'Pol romance in season 4 got really frustrating because the writers wanted angst and tension between their characters. Connor and Jolene got frustrated with that.They mentioned it in old interviews. I've read in Star trek magazines and online.They wished the writers would let them be together as a couple with out the storyline being their relationship being tied up in knots.

I am very thankful all those guys, who share with us their fantasies. Everyone has his/her solution for all those gaps, even I didn't release before there was a gap. Nevertheless, I did a great mistake as I have begun to read TripTpolers. I have to take some notices for reviews/suggestions, etc. Maybe I will try it later as a project.
I am totally agree with you guys about Trip and T'Pol. I never understand the situation, maybe Many Coto was T'Pol /Archer shiper
Correct me if I am wrong, I don't remember any other Trek couple (incl. bromances, sisromances) has so terrible fate. Plus if we consider Trip was responsible for (mostly) humor moments, made him personification of depression was really bad idea. I thought writers hated them with passion. There were too many scenes like the one at "Observer Effect" , she wanted to know if Trip becomes conscious again then when it happens, what has happened? Nothing!

"Cold Station 12"
As the augments head for the Station, we begin with a flashback scene from 11 years past, with Soong playing loving father to his "children" . . .
On the BOP Malek wants to kill everyone on the Station to get easy access to the embryos, Soong does not, and thus sets the tone for future disagreements.
Malek is power hungry, and will get worse.
Enterprise heads to the place that Soong had hid out with his young augments, it has living quarters and a classroom.
There was evidence that the augments had taken some medical equipment with them when they left, it later transpires that this was artificial wombs, or incubators.
While searching the premises they are confronted by a lone human male and he attacks Archer but is easily dealt with.
On the BOP, Soong finally deals with the "Elephant in the Room"
That being, "Where is Rakin?"
Malek tells a false account about having a disagreement and getting into a fight where he kills Rakin accidently.
Soong is enraged but forgives him, unbelievably in my opinion.
On Enterprise, Phlox has examined the human who attacked Archer, he is not an augment, Udar or Smike as he is known by the others, a reference from "Nickolas Nickleby", is more like the runt of the litter and hasn't developed super strength, although later we learn he does have other less obvious augmentations.
Archer works on him to get info as to where the augments are heading but he does not know, and if he did, he's reluctant to say.
Meanwhile, the loathsome Malek is trying to turn Persis against Soong, she must have had difficulty filming that scene in her nice vest and pants combo.
Enterprise has now deduced that Soong and Co are heading for Cold Station 12 to get access to and activate a further 1800 augmented embryos.
Admiral Forrest has given the order to use whatever force necessary.
A Denobulan medical shuttle offers assistance when the BOP puts out a fake distress signal , of course, it's taken captive by the augments and used as a transport to approach CS12, complete with access codes to get into the facility.
After learning that his friend Dr Lucas is on the facility, he asks to go on the landing party.
The augments are now on CS12, but have to gas the scientists because defence protocalls have been activated.
They take the staff as hostages.
On Enterprise, Archer soft soaps Udar with a huge, impossible to eat meal, and shows him his real parents.
Phlox has an equally gross meal which would feed a small village for a week, but no one on Enterprise ever finishes a meal.
After extolling the pros and cons of eugenics (all the pros being on Denobula), and the woes of the Eugenics War, Archer asks if the disease which killed his father could have been cured, but concludes that Soong's methods were not ethical.
Dr Lucas is now being interrogated to reveal his final access codes for the embryos, he bluffs his way at first.
Enterprise arrives at CS12 but Soong successfully gets them to call full stop after he threatens Lucas onscreen with a Klingon disruptor.
Malek discovers that Lucas has been lying and does have the final codes, but he won't talk even after being savgely beaten by Malek, who's bloodlust is growing by the second.
Again he wants to simply kill everyone by releasing all the stored pathogens, but Soong again stops him.
Instead, one of the doctors is put in an isolation chamber and a deadly virus released into it, as a means to get Lucas to reveal his codes, he doesn't do so. (I don't buy this, how could you watch your friend die like that ?)
The landing party have beamed onto CS12 and Phlox tries to tamper with the life support systems to knock out the augments, but they're detected.
Lucas has now seen his friend die in the chamber after Soong's intervention to release the anti pathogen came too late (Malek was against releasing it)
Udar hears the augments approach the landing party and they are quickly captured, Phlox is now reunited with Lucas, and Udar with Soong.
The augments had told Soong that Udar was dead, and Archer now tells Soong the full story about his murderous children and their part in killing the Klingon crew.
Enterprise contacts the Station and Archer manages to shout to T'Pol to instigate the facility's self destruct mechanism, but Malek manages to block their efforts via a feedback pulse, so the 10 second self destruct does not work.
T'Pol tells Trip to load photon torpedoes and they move the ship into range.
As Phlox is now put into the isolation chamber, Enterprise comes under attack from the augments on the BOP, as on 12 Malek has overstepped the mark and pushed Soong to the ground to get his way regarding putting Phlox in the chamber.
Lucas now relents and reveals his codes, he obviously valued Phlox's life over his work colleague's.
The hostages are put into a holding room as Udar refuses to leave with the rest of the augments, as above the Staion, Enterprise is being led away from the facility by the BOP.
Soong, seemingly oblivious to the poisonous Malek's power trip, now shows him the other embryos in stasis, as Enterprise battles on.
In the next scene we see Malek transfer some deadly viruses to the shuttle before their planned departure to the BOP, Archer tries to break free, but Malek gives him a severe beating, Udar tries to help but is overpowered and eventually mercilessly killed by Malek.
He then sets a time sequence to release the rest of the pathogens on the Station, which will obviously kill everyone left on the facilty.
They have five minutes, the augments escape, and Enterprise tries to intercept them, but fails.
On CS12, Archer now has to access, and shut off the release of the pathogens, but has to climb several levels in a maintenance tube to do so.
A cliffhanger ending to a great episode.
The augments really are a bunch of murderous bastards, and Soong is completely delusional.
Here we see why the Eugenics War resulted from absolute power corrupting absolutely, and history now seems set to repeat.
Enterprise at its best, after an uninspiring beginning to this three episode arc.

"The Augments"
Archer races against time to stop the deadly pathogens being released on CS12, he manages to isolate the command room where the scientists and his crew members are, but can't stop them being released into the rest of the station. He has to contact Enterprise to get them to blow an access hatch from outside, releasing the germs into the vacuum of space, but meaning his access junction will depressurize and jettison him into space.
Enterprise have to beam him from space immediately.
The augments head for Klingon space, and as they do, Malek informs Soong about the pathogens they released into the station and that Archer should by now be dead.
Soong is livid and the tensions between him and Malek rise.
CS12 is evacuated temporarily by Enterprise until the scientists can return and repair the damage caused by the augments.
Enterprise heads into Klingon space to search for the augments but have to disguise themselves under a Klingon warp signature. Meanwhile Soong has led the augments to a safe, uncharted region known to him as the Briar Patch, where he wants to lay low and nurture the stolen embryos.
Malek, of course, does not want to hide, instead he brings up the subject of the Botany Bay ship, commanded by Khan, from the Eugenics War, he wants to turn and fight all comers, inspired by Khan, but Soong claims the ship is a myth.
Later, Malek discovers tat Soong is trying to further engineer his embryos to be non violent and non aggressive, Malek again disagrees and even when Soong admits to mistakes in the past engineering, Malek is not interested.
Archer and crew arrive in the Briar Patch and contact Soong, but they had already been detected, a battle starts and Enterprise has the upper hand due to better weaponry.
"He (Archer) sounds pretty confident for a dead man" (looking to Malek)
As a distraction, Soong ejects the captured Denobulan shuttle pilot into space and Enterprise has to rescue her as the augments escape.
Malek now informs Soong that he has a consignment of stolen pathogens which he wants to release in the atmosphere of a Klingon colony, killing everyone and blaming the Earth ship, leading to Interplanetary War.
Soong tries to resist but Malek is no longer listening.
As Enterprise attempts to enhance sensors to retrace the BOP, T'Pol and Trip engage in some seriously awkward smalltalk, but they manage to pick up the trail and pursue.
Malek tells Persis that he is going to usurp Soong, she is conflicted, but Soong is soon relieved of command by his "children" and confined to his quarters.
After being intercepted by a Klingon battle cruiser, Archer has to bluff his way via the Universal Translator, it would seem that Klingons are incredibly stupid.
Persis now tells Soong that she had no choice but to side with Malek, and she helps him off the BOP via an escape pod, where he is detected by Enterprise.
He warns Archer that he has to intercept the BOP before the augments can release the pathogens into the Klingon colonies atmosphere but Archer thinks he's causing a distraction.
But he (Soong) now appears to see that his augments are beyond reproach, and are in fact, very dangerous.
"Superior ability breeds superior ambition"
On the BOP, Malek knows that Persis has betrayed him, he gleefully tells her, and Persis takes a knife to his face, they fight and Malek mercilessly kills her.
As Enterprise heads at high warp they are confronted by another, larger, Klingon ship, only this time the bluff doesn't work.
They are fired upon and have to drop out of warp, but somehow they use the grappler to pull the Klingon vessel off balance, and they tear one of her nacelles off before fleeing.
As the BOP arrives at the Klingon colony, Enterprise arrive hot on their tail.
Malek fires the weapon containing the pathogens but Enterprise manages to fire weapons and detonate the weapon before it reaches the atmosphere.
They now engage with the augments and the battle is not going well until Soong advises where to target the BOP.
The BOP is disabled and the augments are badly injured, Soong tries to reason with Malek, but he would rather self destruct than be captured, which he duly does.
The augment ship is destroyed.
On Enterprise, as Archer and a MACO escort Soong back to his quarters, Malek appears from nowhere, after obviously beaming aboard undetected before the self destruct.
He takes out Archer and the MACO, then targets his ire at Soong, he has him by the throat and after monologuing, he is about to kill him.
Archer, unknown to Malek, has recovered and uses the MACOs weapon to blast a hole through the augment.
Malek is no more.
Soong is returned to prison, and a convenient compromise has been reached with the Klingons, who accept that Enterprise has solved the augment problem, and the threat of war has been averted.
Soong bemoans his work has been removed from him, Archer suggests he could work for the greater good of medicine, but he now hints at doing cybernetic research, a project that could be a "generational" thing.
And we say our goodbyes to Arik Soong.
I liked this trilogy, most especially the middle episode, but I think I liked it because of my absolute contempt for Soong and his augments, they were a detestable bunch.
Sometimes baddies have saving graces, or things about them that are humorous or likeable, but this bunch were an absolute cabal of rogues.

A lot of great little moments - like the scene where Archer bluffs the Klingons. His expressions are priceless. Data is my favorite character in TNG, so I enjoyed Spiner's appearance as Soong.

"Enterprise" is absolutely fine, it has good episodes and not so good, the same as every Star Trek incarnation.
At the time it was more, blander BermanTrek with a not really that much more primitive Ent: just different names for similar tech. Just like Voy, the original premise would have made it more distinctive.
Archer was just too nicey, plus kind of a putz and getting beaten up a lot. I hated T'Pol the first two seasons, but she became one of the deepest characters by the end.

@Delta Vega I really love your loooong reviews: Since we, ENT fans, don't have too much materials, I am thankful for everyone who use existing material with passion. So, I was a little bit busy to write feedback. Spain's mediteranean coasts are still sunny and dry, so enjoy your time.

-T'Pol tries again to teach relaxation method to someone from the crew. Why Archer/Starfleet didn't use her talents/knowledge in this way? At least for Hoshi's job. You can learn/ speak the language but, you never understand real meaning, if you don't have cultural back round. Not all the English words have same meaning/ weight at USA, UK, Canada or AUS.

Enterprise was better than VOY when it aired, although the 'haters' [at the time] grouped them both together as poor Trek. The usual thing we see with currently airing Trek shows, basically (as has happened with DIS and is already happening with PIC for some, based on one Short Trek prequel...). ENT has certainly aged better than VOY has, in my opinion, and VOY never knocked it out of the park with the consistency of ENT's third and fourth seasons.
DS9 would be debatable. ENT is my favourite Trek, bar none, and I'd put ENT's only four seasons against DS9's first four, and say that ENT was the better series as a whole. If you were to compare complete run against complete run, however, it would be hard to say that DS9 didn't do more and accomplish more. That show had the benefit of three extra seasons that ENT did not, however.
I also like ENT more than VOY and even more than TNG actually. I think the characters were really likeable and worked well as a team. Additionally, I enjoy story arcs which TNG and VOY did less. And I liked the original premise of the show (being the first human explorers).
But I think the character development was far better in DS9. Also, I much prefer the way women were generally represented in DS9.
Nevertheless, it saddens me that this subforum seems even quieter than a few years back. Enterprise deserves more love.

I also like ENT (much!) better than DS9, which I could never really get myself to like. ENT is my second-favorite Trek series nowadays - quite ironic since I absolutely LOATHED it when it originally aired, but I've made a complete turnaround on this one. Maybe I'll do a re-watch as well at some point and write down my thoughts here. The show does indeed need more love.
Enterprise is way better than Voyager.I've recently finished rewatching season 3 and the stories hold up really well. I'm halfway through watching season 4 the Andorian arc it's when the show was really hitting it's stride. The charcters are what I liked about this series alot. I just didn't find the voyager characters all that interesting except the holographic doctor.And Tom Paris and B'Elanna Torres.I did like Tuvok I thought he was a really intriguing Vulcan character.
If people don't mind, I may continue with my rewatch/reviews in next couple of days

The weekend seems a good time to start again
I certainly didnt think so first time round but now I completely agree. The VOY crew are really annoying and makes anything other than the top few episodes hard to watch where as I find myself warming to the ENT crew on rewatch
