But what if they'd been marooned on a planet with no wild life and no vegetation... I assume that it must be sanitary by some definition of the word to poop into the protein tank and replicate human faeces into carrots and oranges that they could chow down on?
If they were eating each other's shit, it's no wonder she didn't want to kiss him if he was smearing her poop all over his lips ever day... I can imagine that there is a dna sifter in the replicator to make sure that they only eat food made from other persons poo?
