"Requiem for Methuselah" Line-by-Line

He contacted me after I got the last one started, said things have been busy. I'll PM him now, I vote that we give him 24-48 hours to respond. If we there's no response, I'll run the randomizer and get things moving again like this time.

Oh no, absolutely not! Spock would never admit it to anyone, least of all McCoy, but Spock very well does know what McCoy was talking about and could probably relate to how Kirk was feeling. Anyone remember Leila Kailomi? (sp?) And Spock caused Kirk to forget (whatever it was, probably his love of Rayna) to spare him any more pain of his ordeal.

Oh, I agree... My fav description of what its "like to be a Vulcan" comes from Season 6 of Voyager, "Muse". 2 primitives are putting on a play about "the eternals", one of which is a Vulcan. Kelis is the playwrite, and Jero is the actor.

KELIS: Logical Tuvok doesn't cry! That's why they call him Logical!
JERO: Everybody cries.
KELIS: The land of Vulcan has no laughter, and it has no tears. It is a very quiet place, calm, just like Tuvok.
JERO: I can't believe that.
KELIS: You don't have to, just don't cry!
JERO: The audience won't believe it either. They'll either think Tuvok is an unfeeling monster, or that I am a bad performer.
KELIS: They'll realize that beneath your unfeeling exterior is a heart that's breaking. Silently, and in more pain than any of us can possibly understand, because that's what it is to be Vulcan

From the South Park episode "Chickenlover":

"Return to your simple lives. Just forget this ever happened. FORGET. FORGET."

Okay folks, so we gave CoveTom a couple of days to come in and set up our next episode, but he's a busy guy right now, so it might be awhile until he'd have the time to come and set up the next one. For the time being, I'll get things rolling here.

I ran the Numbers here on this, CoveTom may not be around, but we stick to the method.

Our contestants in Numerical order are:

1. LeadHead
2. leandar
3. JanewayRulz!
4. Orac
5. Enterprise1981
6. brian
7. KirkPicard
8. Vanyel
9. Ziz

I ran the random number generator on that magical talisman known as random.org, and our luck winner is:

George Clooney

What?! That can't be right. My sister grabbed the computer. :) Our real winner and chooser of the next episode is:

brian

So, brian the stage is yours, please select the next episode and I'll get the ball rolling again.
