So, what are y'all?

I consider myself to be a Conservative...So, I guess that makes me a Republican...

(Totally realize I spelled Republican wrong in the thread title, but noticed it too late to correct it...Man, I've had a long day...)

Re: Repulican/Liberal

I'm a liberal, but I'm not a Democrat. You can be conservative/moderate/liberal without following any particular party.

I don't think in terms of parties so much as preferring candidates and people who work to improve lives regardless of political affiliation, like Anne Hathaway and her work with St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

I'm a democratic socialist and a Canadian. I typically vote NDP but I voted Green once. I could vote Liberal if the candidate was right, but I know my Dipper conscience would haunt me over that.

British Liberal, though since the Labour and Tory parties are more or less one and the same these days...

I’ve been a registered Democrat since I was old enough to vote, but I vote candidates and issues, not parties. I consider myself a social libertarian but not an Ayn Randian libertarian. (I know how much love those folks get around these parts, especially in TNZ.)

Is she running for office?

I'm a Liberal-Tory (the liberal Wing of the Conservative and Unionist Party, not the coalition!)

Also, I could have sworn they called them Democrats, rather than liberals ;)

Short answer: it's complicated.

I like to think of myself as an Anarchocommunist but I'm probably just a radical Social Democrat. Nowadays I vote for the Pirate Party if they're on the ballot or for the Greens if they aren't

I generally have conservative leanings and am registered as a Republican, but I vote American. I mean that as in I will vote for who ever I think is the better option, regardless of affiliation.

A vast majority of politicians are disasters and untrustworthy, and I will vote for the lesser of the evils. If that lesser evil is outside my normal party, then so be it- he, she or it gets my vote.
