I don't think in terms of parties so much as preferring candidates and people who work to improve lives regardless of political affiliation, like Anne Hathaway and her work with St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

A middle of the road to liberal, registered Democrat. I'd be more than willing to vote for a Republican, if I didn't find the GOP's platform so reprehensible and there were a candidate worth voting for. There hasn't been one since . . . well there hasn't been one.

Doesn't mean I toe the line with everything the Dems say, nor disagree with each and every stance by Repubs. I'd say 80-20 liberal.

It shouldn't be that strange. I'm by no means a supporter of religion but a number of the things Jesus said were extremely "liberal" and certainly progressive. It's a shame the other parts of the Bible don't tend to follow through on that.

I recently registered to vote as a Democrat, though in the past I've voted Republican at times. I think of myself as pretty liberal when it comes to social issues.

Nowadays I vote for the Pirate Party if they're on the ballot or for the Greens if they aren't

I've voted for the Green Party in almost every election since I was old enough so far, and I don't see that changing any time soon. Otherwise I'm probably similar to what Count Zero said, hypothetically I would be part of the voter base of the Social Democrats, only they haven't really been social-democratic for many years.

Social democrat here (or democratic socialist, depending on my mood and the day of the week). I'm definitively leftist on economic issues, and extremely liberal on social issues.

I've been voting for the (Italian) Democratic Party, even if they are entirely too centrist for my tastes. My heart is more in line with Left Ecology Freedom, a small green/socialist party, but they are too fringe to be relevant considering the current electoral law here. If they change the electoral law (hopefully), I might switch to them.

As a liberal Democrat, allow me to sincerely and honestly offer my condolences. I liked Huntsman a lot because of his substance, and I feel he was shafted numerous times (for one, I don't get how he could be blacklisted for serving as an ambassador under Obama -- when the Senate *unanimously* confirmed him).
