I'm reading A Time to Kill right now, and I want to thank you for it. It's the first really good book in the whole A Time To... series. Your novel is redeeming the time I spent wading through 1500 pages because I have to finish what I started. I was starting to wonder if the series would ever find its sea legs, and you were the one to do it, so major props.
I wish you well with all of your problems and annoyances, even if I am apparently one of them.

This thread makes me laugh. Well, except for the parts where David Mack is going through Stressful Things - that makes me sad, as someone who's going through Stressful Things himself at the moment. Hope things get better, David.
As for the actual topic, I do remember that Michael Jan Friedman used the phrase "plus," at the beginning of sentences, so many times during the Brother's Keeper trilogy that it eventually started making me laugh out loud every time I read it.
