Do you mean that most fans would be unaware that there were changes made, if the remastering described by @CoveTom happened? If so, I'm not sure I agree. I imagine Paramount/CBS/Skynet/WhatevertheHeckIt'sAbouttoBeCalledNow would publicize the heck out of the endeavor.
Now that I've thought more, it's not really the battles or space scenes on DS9 that look dated to me, although I think improving them somehow would be really interesting. The live-action shots are the problem; they just don't look fresh anymore and need work. To digress a bit, Ops was used a bit less frequently as the series progressed, but it and the Defiant bridge were my favorite sets. The Promenade was visually impressive for sure as a set design piece, but I was typically less interested in the story elements taking place there. In any case, all station-set and Defiant-set scenes would look wonderful remastered and might even get me to revise my declining opinion of the show. Another oddity: how strange the Bajor-set scenes look to me in S7 in particular. Some of the lighting choices were not to my taste, I guess. I don't know that any improvments would fix that. (And they won't do anything about the very weak plot elements of the Bajor scenes, either.)
By contrast, I think Voyager still looks great. But then the ship sets were nearly flawless IMHO. I did see some webpage or YT short floating around a while back where a fan redid a few scenes from various episodes. I was impressed. I would buy a remastered Voyager set as quickly as feasible.
No, I was referring to the changes already made with TOS-R and TNG-R. Most people who aren't Super Trekkies like us would probably not even realize the differences other than the HD quality.
Unfortunately, I disagree. I think both DS9 and VOY look like absolute crap on HD TVs.
I will say I thought the remastering of TNG was pretty good because the new upgraded footage looked like it belonged with the live-action sequences. It all fit together seamlessly with the same aesthetic. Unlike TOS-R which looks jarringly like two very different productions grafted together which, of course, it is.

I think it varied from episode to episode. Sometimes it looked okay, sometimes it looked like they were trying to make TOS look like ENT, and sometimes it was just awful '90's video game quality CGI.
This is probably a dumb question, but are the remasters of TNG on P+ or just available on BD?
Got it as to your point. Probably true but who knows. Is that another TOS renaissance I can feel coming in the air tonight?

Both DS9 and VOY sorely need them. But I don't see it happening. It's just not cost-effective for CBS/Paramount to do that now.
