Remember - One of Voyager's Underrated Gems

This episode barely gets talked about and along with Warlord it was one I saw tonight. This one is really an underrated gem with a great message of history is written by the victors and those who don't know it are doomed to repeat it. Torres episodes tend to be really strong, and I think one reason this episode gets overlooked is that it's Torres playing Korina. Still, it's one of those episodes with a strong emotional impact at the end that it sticks with you for a while.

What's everyone's thoughts on this one. I found the Onarans interesting, but this was just a damn good story and Dawson was great as always.

"Remember" is a great episode. A good thoughtful story with some exciting twists and turns.

Not my absolute favorite but definitely among my top 20 favorites.

I'll give it 4 points out of 5

Well, I've always thought modern Klingons are stupid. Pretty much every Torres episode failed as far as I can see. But since this isn't a real Torres episode, I agree--Remember was excellent, and Dawson was delightful.

How did Modern Klingons enter this topic. For one, Torres was only half Klingon, and two, none of that had to do with this episode. :wtf:

^It wouldn't be the BBS without a thread going off topic...

I must say, though, this episode was a Season 3 highlight for me. Great Eppy.

A wonderful wonderful episode. Although, considering how excellent remember was, I don't understand why they allowed Memorial to be made and how it failed on so many levels when they already got the Shindler's List Homage spot on here.

Something similar happened in last weeks doctor who which was just as creepy.

Correct---Modern Klingons had nothing to do with this episode. That's why it's a good one!

I believe this was possibly Dawson's finest performance in 7 years. It's one of my favourites - possibly Top 5 of all VOY. I find it incredibly powerful and moving, and you're right, often overlooked.

It's hard come come up with a fine performence from Dawson. I thought she was good anytime she was featured, particularly in "Day of Honor" from season 4. I'm glad she stayed with Trek as a director but she was a very underrated actress.
