When you play the original mono track over the new CGI footage on the Blu-Rays, the whole sequences works like Gangbusters. Very, very effective and well done. I prefer that to the enhanced audio in general.

To be fair, though, the orchestra absolutely nailed the performance of the music. It was eerie just how well they recreated that opening theme.
But yeah, that new singer just didn't quite nail it like Jeannie Norman did back in the day.

I like the new first season better, but yeah, they got the timing and tempo exactly right. I absolutely give them credit for lovingly recreating the theme.
