Registry Repair

Anyone know of a good free piece of registry repair software? I think I've done something horrible to my gaming computer's registry...

Hiya, Admiral! Depending on the severity of the problem, there are tools within Windows that may help. What OS are you running and how severe is the problem? (i.e. Can you get into Windows at all? Regular or Safe Mode?)

Good luck, my hard drive was completely eaten a few months ago. Luckily I had most of my stuff backed up on other media or drives, so I didn't lose much.

Hi GK!

Yeah, I'm running Windows 7 (upgrade from Vista ).

My problem is that I can't use Remote Web Workplace. The company is using a Windows Small Business Server 2000 program, and I can get web access to my outlook just fine. But, if I try to remote into my work computer, I get a blank page in IE.

So, the IT people think my regedit might have something wrong with it. I ran the registry cleanup I normally use. I picked it up from Cnet, and it pulled up 64 issues that it couldn't fix because they were locked down.

Now, I'm at a loss as to what to do, and they're not really helping me. Thing is RWW was working just fine until about two weeks ago. So, I don't know what I did to make it stop working.

I would greatly appreciate any help anyone could give me here.

What about doing a System Restore to a point before the problem started? That's usually saved me the few times I've hosed myself without knowing exactly what I did.

I thought about that, but I'm not sure when the problem first started, and I don't want to go so far back that I do more harm than good.

I know what you're thinking, but, with my luck, something bad would happen.

This is the only registry utility I've used, so I can't compare it to others. But it's definitely free.
