"Regeneration" questions

Wasn’t that a different queen though? I don’t think that was Alice in that episode.
Pretty sure she's playing the same character, and it was only scheduling conflicts that prevented Alice Kriege appearing at first. Alice returned to the role for "Endgame"

One of my favourite episodes. That shot where the Enterprise meets Arctic One still gives me chills.
One of the rare situations where the audience knows more about the danger before hand before they do.
Chills, probably in more ways than one. Brrr cold. The Arctic setting made me think of the scifi horror film, The Thing. Chills indeed.

The ending of "Regeneration" is eerily similar to the ending of TNG's "Conspiracy". At the end of "Conspiracy", Picard was told that, before they killed it, the creepy alien had sent a beacon to some unexplored part of the galaxy. It was an ominous ending.

Of course, in "Regeneration", Archer informed T'Pol that the borgs had sent a message of Earth's location to a homeworld somewhere in the mysterious Delta quadrant. It, too, was an ending that came with a dire warning. But unlike "Conspiracy", which had no follow-up, we knew ahead of time where "Regeneration" would lead to.

Yeah I didn't notice it where was the E saucer?

I love the ominous ending to this, and Conspiracy as well. BTW those insects were originally supposed to be the Borg
