Regarding Fed ships appearing in the new Picard series

Enterprise-E. And to be fair, the "window" in that scene was more of an airlock junction where ship access from the outside could be effected. He opened the door before touching the force field, so it's nominally closed except for when 21st century primitives need to be convinced they're on a rocketship.

I would actually be surprised if we see any Starfleet vessels at all during the run of the show, unless they do a flashback.

They’re not going to make a Star Trek show and not show any Starfleet vessels.

I for one would like to see new Starfleet vessels without the usual saucer/nacelle combination we’re
used to. I’d rather see something entirely different to show advances in technology since the last 20 years.

Since the Verity is the main ship in the comic, we might see her in a flashback.
I still do expect the Enterprise (hopefully a not too badly altered E) to show up in a major twist or cliffhanger like the end of Disco S1. Some majestic scene where all is lost and then she swooshes in and saves the day. That alone would be so cool...

I strongly suspect that the Verity won't survive the comic, hence why it's an Odyssey-class ship (as pure fan service to the readers) and why they even have her in the comic in the first place.

Here ya go... a new Fed. ship appearing in the new PICARD trailer showing with "The Rise of Skywalker"...
You can see the Star Fleet Delta on it...

Figured I’d bring this back, given that all the ships we’ve encountered so far, save for the Borg cube, seem to have windows as their view screens.

Also, all of them are on the small side, including Commodore Oh's relative behemoth.

I can see the plot reason for the hero ship being small. And for certain of the adversaries and sidekicks, such as Narek's scout and Seven's corsair, being small. And for the Romulan shuttlebuses serving the Artifact to be small. And thus sporting a forward windshield like so many Trek small craft.

Why are the Romulan warships small, though? Small goes well with windshielded and winged both. But there's no atmospheric action to be expected at the Artifact. Why the choice of ship type? Are these leftovers from a mostly lost Imperial Fleet rather than recently built post-supernova assets?
