Obama is now saying the US will be bringing in 10,000 Syrians "at least" in 2016, while Kerry is saying he'd like to see it go as high as 100,000. I hope America welcomes quite a number of them and we do our share of helping.
I feel we should do more since we did invade Iraq.
Um...hmmm...is that what we really did, though?
Saudi Arabia finally has offered to help...
... by building 200 mosques in Germany!

Saudi and the UAE are busy in Yemen (with our help, believe it, but I am only telling you because it is a secret so don't tell anybody, ok?) making sure that that country has no discernable infrastructure, and each and every building is bombed to rubble so the refugees have a proper place to huddle...and then they send millions in aid, with their own people to distribute it, so "unstable elements cannot steal it and sell it to the black market and other unscrupulous groups."
(Quote from UAE Foreign Minister)
I don't want France to not be France, nor Germany not be Germany.
There's nothing to worry about. I've been to France and they're all riding around on bicycles reading Derrida, wearing black and white jumpers and berets with a string of garlic over their shoulder and a Gauloises in their mouths. It's as French as it's ever been.
Haven't been to Germany but I assume they're still eating fat sausages and spanking each other while an oompah band plays in the background.
Don't forget the friendly and welcoming Frauleins with large steins of cold beer and winning smiles!
I mean, seriously, who in Syria would want to leave all of this?
If only people had the common courtesy to stay put while war is going on all around them.![]()
Yeah, like Proper Refugees, gathered around a tiny fire, singing the Old Songs, as the dust from the rafters sifts down from the incessant bombing. And the tear streaks on the Little Girl Refugee's face. Oh, and the amputated doll she is clutching and soothing, saying to it, "...don't worry..." over and over, in one of those funny-sounding foreign refugee languages.
Okay well there are a lot of problems with that to start with but picking out the most obvious one of, they're not homes to live in, and don't involve the food or water needed so...yeah just use this crisis to spread a religious agenda there UAE, yeesh.
"...spread a religious agenda there UAE, yeesh."
??? Did this last part get typo-ed, Chemahkuu?
