Assuming they look like the red sparkly effect from their single live action episode.
We're not mad, are we? So the answer is no.
Yes. Just because they're wearing clothes, doesn't mean we don't see them.

It's like saying we saw that guy... actually we saw the door of the mensroom while he was in there doing his thing...
Kind of. In that we saw the door open several times and got a peek at the person inside.
Point is, we interacted with Kollos in that episode. He was present. It wasn't just an offhand reference in dialogue.
That's what I'm looking for. A list of all the races that that have been referenced only in dialogue or Okudagrams or whatever. Gallamites, Grizellas, a few variant spellings of Terrellian, the Legarans, the Jarada, they all count for what I'm after.
We actually *meet* the Medusans.
Ultimately, I'd like to expand this to include references in novels - but "unseen" there is much more tenuous. Again, referenced, but not featured.
One goal for me is to try and match up Referenced-only aliens with "Unnamed species" aliens if possible. It might be in a few cases.
Primarily, though, this would just be a useful list for writers.
How about the alien scientists in Voyager's "Real Life"? We didn't see them per se. but we saw the debris field where they were supposed to be. Does that count as seeing them or not seeing them?
I haven't seen "Real Life" in over 20 years. It's one of my most hated Voyager episodes, so I honestly don't remember. Do we, the viewers, actually interact with the species?

What do you mean by interact? We don't interact with videos, with video games maybe...
