Red Hair

We have a couple red headed female mmember here, as well. I may be spelling this user name wrong, but RedPhenix. And I seem to recall another female member, but for the life of me I can't recall who. Probably in the photos thread, but no way I'm going through all those pages.

EDIT:
My father had red hair. I have dark brown. On rare occassions, some of the hairs on my face are orange, upon closer examination.

I just spent a considerable chunk of money getting all "girlied up" at the hair salon---including a professional dye job to make my hair a very dark red. It will lighten up slightly after a few washes but I like it.

I probably won't be spending that kind of money on my hair again any time soon (hubby will kill me) but it had been a long, long time since I'd had a proper haircut, and I had NEVER had a professional color treatment before.

165 posts and nobody has mentioned Kari Byron from Mythbusters yet? She gets to blow stuff up and shoot things for a living. She's a hot redhead, and she has my dream job.

I just assumed that none of us were worthy to type her name. ;)

Here's one from me (someone may have already mentioned, I didn't notice): Elizabeth Montgomery (I don't know if she's natural or not).

She dyes her hair a lot, but she's a natural red head. Aside from anything else, she has the problem that she burns easily that most redheads have.

I love redheads. Especially freckly redheads. Amy from Doctor Who is the perfect example. Wowee. :adore:

It seems to me that if we eventually become "One People" it will mean that those who choose to preserve superficial differences will be seen as, well, racists.

I mean, how could small pockets of people who seek to be as black or pale as possible be seen as anything but oddities?

I'm just musing here on our far-off future.
That idea was raised in the old Marvel 2099 line. But I'm hoping for a future that embraces and rewards individuality, rather than yet more conformity.

My real hair color is some mutant reddish blonde--not really one of the other--like a weird kind of butterscotch.
You have a great smile. :bolian:

I'd be worried if a female porn star wasn't hot looking.
Most of them are far from hot looking, unfortunately.

little miss trampledamage (who's five so temper your responses accordingly) has little clusters of freckles just at the top of her cheeks underneath the corner of her eyes. I think they're gorgeous.

She's inherited the black hair from my husband's side of the family though, but young master trampledamage has, well not ginger hair because it's too dark but reddish-brown hair. And going by what I know of Irish men's hair, his beard will probably be really ginger.

When exposed to enough Summer sunshine, my brown hair gains a reddish tinge-- the result of my Irish genes.

I don't have red *hair* (or indeed any hair) but when I got sunburned because I stuck around too long to watch the filming of Spider-Man 3 some years back, my actual head was red.
