Red Hair

Brigid Regan, who played Kailin (sp?) on 'Legend of the Seeker', is actually a redhead. They dyed her hair brown for the role.

Didn't know that. And googling pictures of her as a redhead... Wow, that really doesn't work for me. Kinda odd, really. The brunette color REALLY works for her a lot better, IMO...

Don't know how I missed her last night, but Mariska Hargitay is pretty smoking as a redhead, too.

Red-haired women: HOT!

Red-haired men: GEEK!

That's the standard belief system. Women are brainwashed/programmed for the Tall, Dark and Handsome image. Even the blonde hunk is more of a fake pop culture thing than an ideal. And red-haired guys...poor saps.

Bitches, why you so prejudiced?

I'll have some of what you're smoking.

I'm serious. I'm all about the Felicia love but when she, or her photographer, try too hard like that it doesn't work.

Her appeal to me is that she doesn't look like some generic glamour model.

There are so many things I could say but, suffice it to say that redheaded women put me at ease. That is...of course, except for...the first time...I meet one...

I have always treasured that which is unusual or different. Redheaded women fit right into that. As for redheaded men...how can you bear to go on living?

Wow! Uhhh... very nice. If I say any more I'll sound like a dirty old man.

And Ann-Margaret wasn't the original redhead. That was Rita Hayworth.
Anyone have a pic?

My mum is a redhead, as was her grandfather. So I may be a carrier of the gene, and could in theory infect the world with the hellish ginger spawn of my loins...

Bwahaha.

Since red hair is a recessive gene, and we're all breeding without thought to hair color, red hair should be bred out of our species eventually.

That will be a sad, sad day for all. :(
