Re: Red Dwarf series 9 (or is it 10?) in 2012 confirmed by Craig Charl
It definitely looks like they're back on form!

Nah, some PBS stations had it in the late 80's - early 90's, but they lost so much NEA money , I doubt they'd go for it now.
me tooI just hope that "The Beginning" doesn't mean the end. I hope there's more! Looks like they're back in good form.
It's been ages ago since I read them so I might be mistaken, but in the novels wasn't Earth just basically a garbage planet?
I hope Ace Rimmer makes an appearance.

The second point is certainly true, although my PBS affiliate (in the Seattle-area) carried Red Dwarf all the way through series VIII in 1999.
Just saw on the Facebook page that it's going to air on the 4th of October![]()

Was wondering this myself. Maybe PBS? Has anyone heard anything about it airing in the U.S.?

I was under the impression the British don't like announcing airdated that far in advance? Doctor Who never has its premiere dates anounced until a week or so in advance.
Mr. Flibble is pleased with this news, also disappointed that he won't have a reason to use his hex vision.![]()
