I forgot..in this new world order only fat white dudes from American who smoke and own guns and vote for republicans can be bad guys..what about Rush Limbaugh?

Rob

Well, that's one way of responding.

Another would have been "Oh, sorry, I didn't realize that 'middle east dude' actually had a name and was already in this new Trek movie."

You know, if you wanted to respond in a way that made you appear humble and not reactionary in the least.

Good point. Didn't mean to offend. And it will be interesting to see what role he plays..in fact, I wish he hadn't been killed off in Ironman. I thought he did pretty good..

.......And the bad guy from the Mummy, the bald guy..he was pretty bad ass too..

Rob

I spoke to him for about half an hour and when he left the motorcycle shop I said too my friend "He looks like the Mummy guy" and he said "He IS the Mummy guy" He had hair and less weight - 100% not scary in real life - like Vin Diesel:lol:

Hugh Jackman, he looks as if he has been genetically altered! That storyline would never work though, since Khan/Kirk met in Season 2, when Khan was marooned on a planet which later became a desert prison in WOK, some 20 years later.

A better character to bring back would be Brent Spiner as the grand-father or great grand father of Data. He could be building evil androids.

Some of us might be calling this a reboot, but I really doubt they'd go that far.

That said, I have no idea who would play Khan. I can't picture him as anyone other than Ricardo Montelban.

I agree, seeing actor this as Kirk and actor that as Khan instead of Shatner and Montalban would simply be like watching a bunch of second-rate amateurs screw up a masterpiece.

Besides that, I don't think that they could come up with a better movie than "Star Trek II-The Wrath Of Khan".

I also have my doubts about re-booting overall. I think that Trek is in a dangerous situation if it's only about coming up with second-class re-works of stories which have been made better in the past.

It's time for new characters and new stories! TNG became a success because it was just that and at the same time based on what's been established in TOS and the TOS movies.
