Eh. Too much gimmickry. If there's one show that doesn't really need tarting up, it's Lost. Anyone who's still watching already knows all that fate/destiny/blah blah stuff is central to the show and anyone who isn't watching isn't going to start at this late date.

IF ABC is going to use it, they should just use a couple "chessboard" images to avoid being heavy-handed (geezus! we GET IT! ) and replace that cheesy music with something more on par with the usual in-show musical themes.

After all of the ooohhhs and aaaahhhs up-thread, I was expecting something incredible.

But they really overdid the chessboard imagery in that promo. And I don't know...I want to see something that will make me curious about the FUTURE....not something that will make me dwell in what has already happened.

And besides, if they were going to use a board game, shouldn't it have been backgammon?
