Raven's Elite force - Expansion pack

Hi there,

So I imagine there are users who own or have played Voyager Elite force at one time, perhaps not so much now. Elite force is that first person shooter set in one of the later seasons of voyager with the idea of a Hazard team, as the the player takes charge of it during the missions in the Forge.

Leaving that aside, there was an Expansion pack released some time afterwards, who gave it a play? I only played it recently, when I was much younger back in 2003/2004, the expansion pack was still quite expensive.

Thanks for reading.

I had it. To be honest, the only thing I remember about it was the open world feel, ie you could wander around Voyager. IIRC you could engage self destruct, which was kinda fun. I can't remember if there were any new single player missions, or if it was only maps for playing online. Again, iirc, you could also wander around main engineering and go 'upstairs' and view the warp core.

There were action figures to find around the ship (90% of which is from the regular EF game), personal logs to read and holodeck Captain Proton levels to play. Definitely not worth the £25 I spent on it upon release!

Yes, I remember it being very expensive. There were modifications made for Elite force, there was the NX01 mission pack, was planned to of been a tour mod based of some blueprints, perhaps crude ones.

The actual part of E deck doesn't look as accurate as I recently have seen, according to a fan who drew up his own by watching the episodes.

Ofcourse I could help but notice some corridors were reused, I'm sure the transporter area was just removed and boarded up with a wall, because it awfully look so much similar to another deck, that aired in Daedulus season 4 episode.

I guess you no longer own the games?

Sadly nobody in the gaming industry attempted an Enterprise game or anything similar to eliteforce. I was eager to see a game based on that series, as I watched in during the time and before I even knew of a modification for EF.

Raven allowed users to create maps using textures from the game, there wasn't any legal problems to that. How ever the actual licence states otherwise. Hmm, how stuff changes.
