5/10. Although that may be underrated; it leaves me with no strong feelings either way, but that might be the point. It's supposed to be a case of blandly straightforward Vulcan logic, after all. 
So it's quite clever in its effect on a reader, but that effect isn't enough for me to raise it above average. Perhaps it works too well for me?

lol, it kinda seems that way, doesn't it. It's just me playing around with how Vulcans seem to be able to state the perfectly obvious as though it was a deep, earth-shattering revelation (I would say Vulcan-shattering, but that's already been done...).
