Bet you'll never guess how I voted.
shakaar?

i was totally in love with bareil. the whole concept of resurrection intrigued me, at least until mirror kira showed up.

I agree. I'd have really liked for Mirror Bareil to have stayed. I think it would have been interesting.

I must confess that the whole idea of Bad Boy Bareil was kinda...'intriguing'. But I didn't like it when he turned out to be just another MU Kira Puppet Boy.

No Kira and Dukat option? :wtf: Definately her most interesting romance, even if it was only romantic inside Dukat's head.

Bareil and Shakaar were interchangably bland pretty boys with little by way of charisma, personality, or interest. Hell, Shakaar felt like a pale imitation of Bareil. Ouch. So naturally, given the options, I went for Odo.

Not to say Odo is the least of three evils. While I really didn't like the saccharine 'His Way'; Odo/Kira was one of the more watchable relationships. It really was at its best in episodes like 'Crossfire', however, where it was all about Odo's latent attraction being a chink in his gruff exterior. But I cared about both characters, and that helped.

I choose Kira and Bareil. I don't know why I always liked that relationship better than her and Shakaar, but I always did. Kira and Odo on the other hand was one of the worst Trek relationships (along with Worf/Troi and Seven/Chakotay).

I have to vote Kira and Bereil. Everything before Season 4 was awesome. I've only viewed up to Season 4, but it sucked (eXtreme close-ups, Worf, crappy shipping), and I didn't like the clips I saw from the later seasons. I like Odo as a character, but whenever he was considering a relationships, I was like, "Come on! Get a grip of yourself, Mr. Emo."

Dukat would have been even more impressive a villain if he'd somehow seduced Kira. The whole "I nailed your mother" thing struck me as a colossal copout ... and the fact that we would have been horrified is precisely the point.

Oh, and ... the kiss with Tom Riker. None of Kira's romances ever rang true for me.

Kira was such a strong personality that it would have taken a stronger man to be with her. None of those choices would have been man enough to keep her very long. I liked Bariel for her at first because he was spiritual like she was, but I think they were too different to have lasted. The Odo thing just showed she was really getting desperate.

Kira/Odo. "His Way" is a brilliant episode, fantastic.

Followed closely by Kira/Bareil. Very cute. I like the way they handled his character and his death.

Shakaar is a terrible character and I don't care for his looks, too. That chin could sink the Titanic. Not my type.
