At least the Ferengi's are back to the way they were originally intended to be. They're much more menacing when they're hopping all over the screen.

Only in skilled hands. Otherwise, you need at least half a dozen.

It was a bit startling to see the Ferengi are now 7 feet tall and bright purple, though.

Yeah, but that oo-mox scene was disgusting. :barf:
They really took it to a new level. Sometimes network censorship is a good thing.

I didn't mind the oo-mox scene, but maybe that's because I have big ears.

And since all Romulans, Vulcans and Klingons have the same hair style, I like how they decided to give all humans mullets. It really shows how mankind has united together in the future.

I didn't like it. The references were nice though - a younger Daystrom installing his M2 unit, Kirk's buddy Finnegan and Ruth as they really were, Decker and the nice Dr. Starnes with his pregnant wife. So lovely. I hope I got them all.

Wonder how they gonna retcon it so by TNG everyone's forgotten that the tribbles created The Borg.
They defeat the borg in this version using vast numbers. Assimilation is faster, but you need raw material. The tribble just needs to hang out and let it happen

Three men died simply installing the M2, and still no one raised a red flag.

Wow, all of my doubts have been put to rest. They did a great job of staying consistent with TOS, but still making it unique.
I can't believe they actually got him to appear. I wonder if we'll see him again?
I don't think so. Seeing an anachronistic pantless Neelix once was one time too many.

Did you see that guy on the bridge? They say he is a half-breed of a ferengi and a vulcan. he has big round pointy ears, and keeps quoting the rules of logical acquisition. Every seven years he gets to buy a naked woman and have sex with her.

They brought back the hypno-thingy from STNG's "lonely Among Us"!!

The pilot was better than Cats. I'm going to see it again and again.

I am glad they finally have a robot that truly integrates the three laws of robotic. That's a refreshing change.

Did I see Mel Gibson mumbling softly to himself in the corner of the lounge scene?

When 18 year old Crewman Walter Buster got guillotined on the nudist planet after he accidentally clattered the local magistrate on the head with a bat during this planet's equivalent of 'baseball', I bet there wasn't a dry eye in the audience.
