Below is my ranking of my favorite episodes within the Star Trek franchise:

1. "The Bride of Chaotica!" (VOY)

2. "In a Mirror, Darkly" (ENT)

3. "Blood Fever" (VOY)

4. "In the Pale Moonlight" (DS9)

5. "Scientific Method" (VOY)

6. "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad" (DIS)

7. "Pre-Emptive Strike" (TNG)

8. "Rapture" (DS9)

9. "City on the Edge of Forever" (TOS)

10. "Little Green Men" (DS9)

1. "A Taste of Armageddon" - Star Trek
2. "The Day of the Dove" - Star Trek
3. "Where No Man Has Gone Before" - Star Trek
4. "The Omega Glory" - Star Trek
5. "Q, Who" - Star Trek: The Next Generation
6. "The Thaw" - Star Trek: Voyager
7. "The Royale" - Star Trek: The Next Generation
8. "The Ultimate Computer" - Star Trek
9. "The Wire" - Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
10. "The Best of Both Worlds, Part One" - Star Trek: The Next Generation

Honorable mention: "Scorpion, Part One" - Star Trek: Voyager. My oldest son was born on that day. We watched the episode, in the hospital room, while my wife was in labor.

in no particular order, my favorite ten are probably ( and probably subject to change) :

Errand of Mercy *TOS*
City on the Edge of Forever *TOS*
Conscience of the King *TOS*
The Inner Light *TNG*
Beyond The Farthest Star *DS9*
In the Pale Moonlight *DS9*
Explorers *DS9*
Carbon Creek *ENT*
Through The Valley of Shadows *DISCO*
Strange New Worlds *SNW*

Mine tends to change as well. However, a few constants...

- The Visitor
- Measure of a Man
- Year of Hell
- Inner Light
- Subspace Rhapsody

In Purgatory's Shadow/By Inferno's Light
The Visitor
All Good Things...
If Memory Serves
Devil in the Dark
Year of Hell
Before and After
Scorpion I
Time Amok
The Forgotten

They do tend to change and this isn't in any order, but It's a good sampling of the franchise as a whole.

"This Side of Paradise" (TOS)
"Return to Tomorrow" (TOS)
"The Enterprise Incident" (TOS)
"Remember Me" (TNG)
"Reunion" (TNG)
"Cause and Effect" (TNG)
"In the Pale Moonlight" (DS9)
"The Omega Directive" (VOY)
"Counterpoint" (VOY)
"No-Win Scenario" (PIC)

Some painful cuts to get this list down to 10. This is by no means a definitive list, there's no order to it other than chronological, and expect it to change on a whim. Take it with a grain of salt. If I put together a Top 50 List, it would have more meaning, since I wouldn't be struggling to leave so much out.

I'll start by picking one the favorites from each of the series that provides any favorites.

"The Doomsday Machine"
"One of Our Planets Is Missing"
"Darmok"
"Far Beyond the Stars"
"Real Life"
"Horizon"
"If Memory Serves"
"Crisis Point"
"Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow"

That's nine. So, I'll pick the top episode from those that remain:

"The City on the Edge of Forever"

(Had I chosen "City" first, "Doomsday" would have been the final pick; they're my top two TOS episodes.)

From Star Trek: (props to @BillJ for using the proper name - I'll do the same)

"The Doomsday Machine"
"Where No Man Has Gone Before"
"Balance of Terror"
"Mirror, Mirror"
"Journey to Babel"
"The Ultimate Computer"
"Day of the Dove"
"The Man Trap"
"The Tholian Web"
"The Enemy Within"

If I'm stopping at 10, that's it. All of these before I even get to another ST show.

From here, and not including the original series:

Star Trek - The Next Generation
"The Best of Both Worlds"
"Conspiracy"
"Yesterday's Enterprise"

Star Trek - Deep Space Nine
"The Way of the Warrior"
"The Visitor"
"A Call to Arms"

Star Trek - Enterprise
"Azati Prime"
"Terra Prime"
"E2"

Star Trek - Voyager
"The Year of Hell"
"Timeless"
"Dark Frontier"

Nothing in the Paramount + era. Not that I dislike all of it, but none of it has earned a repeat viewing from me. One and done.

I simply can't narrow it down to only 10 episodes. But I think I can do a Top 25.

"BALANCE OF TERROR"
"THE DEVIL IN THE DARK"
"THE DOOMSDAY MACHINE"
"Where Silence Has Lease"
"The Measure Of A Man"
"Yesterday's Enterprise"
"The Offspring"
"Darmok"
"The Pegasus"
"All Good Things..."

"DUET"
"THE WAY OF THE WARRIOR"
"THE VISITOR"
"OUR MAN BASHIR"
"TRIALS AND TRIBBLE-ATIONS"
"FOR THE UNIFORM"
"IN THE CARDS"
"CALL TO ARMS"
"IN THE PALE MOONLIGHT"
"TACKING INTO THE WIND"
"DISTANT ORIGIN"
"BLINK OF AN EYE"
"UNITED"

I can't add any from the current era because not enough time has passed to see if they can be 'favorite' or 'classic'. (And frankly, none of DISCO will ever be part of the list, and only a few episodes of PICARD I would even consider as potentials.) But I can say these three are almost certain to be added down the road, as they are the very best of the current era.

"wej Duj"
"IS THERE IN BEAUTY NO TRUTH?"
"Under the Cloak of War"
