For some reason, I enjoy the Dresden Files TV series despite the fact that there are changes from the books. Bob makes the most sense since a talking skull works less well on TV.

What makes me think this is that the "unaired" pilot, which more closely follows the book doesn't seem to stick the landing as well for me. No idea why this never made it to any media. The quality is less than great, but if you want a version closer to the books, this is it. I don't think it's all that great. Pretty sure it aired in Canada, but I can't find all of the details now.

Went grocery shopping this morning and, as I was picking out a Mother's Day card, I noticed that, for the first time for me at least, Fred Meyer had one section devoted to Spanish language cards, and another for other foreign languages; which is probably a reflection of how multicultural Washington state has become.
