Did you think liver was something other than, well . . . liver?
When you're a pre-teen, one doesn't think about those things on a regular basis.

Some kid in front of me has been alternating between playing some sort of computer game and looking at pictures of cars for the past 20 minutes. I find it really weird.
Don't have it often, but I do like it, even with that caveatIt just occurred to me, liver and onions.
There was a restaurant in town that made the best liver and onions.
I would order it almost every time we dined out.
Then I found out what liver was, and that was that.

Was that restaurant by any chance called "Breakfast and Burgers" near St. Louis? They make an awesome liver and onions. It just occurred to me, liver and onions.

"I'd like to see aliens in Star Trek practicing [real-world religion]" is certainly a strange thing to read. What use would any other species have for a religion invented by Humans, for Humans, with only the interests of Humans in mind?
That's the alternate ending to Independence Day. When Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith land on the mothership, they try to covert the aliens, fully expecting to be able to communicate with the aliens because of god. And because they're Americans, after it doesn't work the first time they'll JUST SPEAK LOUDER.

Also it may be early but I'm going to try to arrange for an internship next year
